    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Provide strategic input and guidance in developing M&E planning strategies, methodologies, and best practices to optimise project efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to the M&E planning team, offering mentorship and support to junior planners and facilitating knowledge sharing and professional development within the team.
    • Take a lead role in managing M&E planning activities for complex and large-scale JVs and coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants, to ensure seamless integration of M&E plans with the overall project.
    • Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support M&E planning activities while optimising resource utilisation to meet project timelines and objectives.
    • Analyse project schedules and critical paths to identify opportunities for optimisation and efficiency improvement and develop strategies to mitigate schedule risks and manage project delays effectively.
    • Apply value engineering principles to M&E planning processes, seeking innovative solutions that optimise project outcomes while reducing costs and enhancing performance.
    • Ensure M&E planning activities comply with relevant codes, regulations, standards, and specifications, while staying updated with industry advancements and emerging technologies in M&E planning.
    SKILLS AND BACKGROUND
    • Previous experience as an M&E Planner, leading the whole lifecycle of projects of over 15m.
    • Track record in proficiently developing comprehensive critical paths.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Collaborate with project teams, clients, and other stakeholders to develop M&E project plans and schedules that align with overall project objectives and timelines.
    • Determine the necessary resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment, required for M&E activities. Coordinating with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of resources.
    • Develop and maintain a detailed WBS for M&E activities, breaking down the work into manageable tasks, milestones, and deliverables while ensuring that the WBS integrates with the overall project plan.
    • Identify the critical path for M&E activities, which is the sequence of tasks with the longest duration and determines the project's overall timeline, and analyse dependencies and constraints to optimise the critical path.
    • Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers involved in M&E activities to ensure effective coordination, timely delivery of materials, and adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
    • Ensure that M&E activities comply with applicable codes, regulations, industry standards, and client requirements, while conducting quality inspections and coordinating with quality control teams to ensure high standards of workmanship.
    SKILLS AND BACKGROUND
    • Previous experience as M&E Planner, with whole-lifecycle NEC project experience.

    • UK or EU passport holder security-cleared is a plus.
