    Due to an increase in project wins and in line with a pre-existing growth plan, we are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer with a building services background to join the Berlin office of a global building services consultancy. THE COMPANY

    THE ROLE
    • This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join an excellent consultancy, and to play a role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative electrical design solutions for some of the most notable and large-scale data centre projects in the world.
    • You will collaborate within the critical systems team as an Electrical Design Engineer and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to help manage the delivery of technically excellent and profitable projects.
    • The role of Electrical Design Engineer will include helping to deliver designs, keeping an eye on fee and programme, checking designs and communication with the team and wider.
    • As an Electrical Design Engineer, you would be assisting and helping the senior engineers with schematic designs, containment calculations, small power and lighting design, alongside a variety of other responsibilities.
    SKILLS AND BACKGROUND
    • Educated to degree level.
    • You will have experience in the hands-on design, including and understanding the principals of standard engineering practices. In your most recent position, you have consistently demonstrated your ability to contribute and assist senior engineers to deliver to, and exceed, client expectations.
    • You will have experience of working in projects located in Germany and be familiar with German codes and regulations.
