£60,000 – £80,000 + bonus

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be accountable for the initiation, planning, execution, regulation and final completion of projects during the pre-construction and construction stages of the project. This is a client facing role. You will be responsible for delivering outputs, managing the team operations and achieving the agreed goals set within the project scope.

They are looking for a Senior Project Manager who wants to be part of, not only the UK’s leading modular build company, but also a company that offers long term security and career progression. The quantity surveyor will play a pivotal role in supporting the commercial team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Senior Project Manager will be in regular contact with clients and other stakeholders on the project. They will manage preconstruction process from RIBA Stage 2 to RIBA Stage 4.
- The Senior Project Manager will work with the client and the external design team to develop a design in line with the client’s brief and budget.
- The Senior Project Manager will maintain relationships with external stakeholders which may include authorities, developers and landowners to ensure effective project delivery.
- The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for preparing, updating, and advising the client on project programmes. They will evaluate progress and the impact of delays and alternative programme solutions.
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND
- The Senior Project Manager will hold a Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
- Member of APM/ RICS/ CIOB or equivalent professional organisation, or actively working towards membership.
- The Senior Project Manager will have proven experience of working at Project Manager or Senior Project Manager for a Consultancy working on construction projects through RIBA stages 2-4.
- The Senior Project Manager must have contractual knowledge and experience administering the construction contracts.
