Due to an increase in project wins and in line with a pre-existing growth plan, we are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with a building services background. This is a hybrid role, working two days a week from home.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be working on a range of commercial projects.
• The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will collaborate within the team and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to help the delivery of technically excellent and profitable projects.
• The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be producing and reviewing mechanical design drawings incl. HVAC, water, etc.
• The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for producing technical drawings, engineering designs, calculations, and specifications with the use of software and in accordance with agreed deadlines and budgets.
• The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be able to prepare technical reports in accordance with briefs from clients.
• The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be happy leading the mechanical aspects of the projects.
• The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be open to mentoring junior engineers.

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND

• The Mechanical Design Engineer will have a degree in mechanical engineering or building services engineering with a mechanical focus.
• The Mechanical Design Engineer will have working knowledge of UK standards and experience in an engineering consultancy.
• The Mechanical Design Engineer will have demonstrable experience completing UK-based projects.
• The Mechanical Design Engineer will have experience using Hevacomp.
