Quality Assurance Manager – Netherlands

Salary & Package: £80,000 – £90,000 + Accommodation + Travel

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join a well-known main contractor with a revenue of £500M. They are a process-driven company that operates in multiple sectors such as Manufacturing, Data Centre, Food, Logistics and Pharmaceutical sectors.

As a main contractor, they also adapt to change in the environment and have taken a further look into how the projects they help deliver and as a business can be more sustainable. They have a strong reputation, take care of their employees and make sure all processes which are implemented are followed to avoid unwanted setbacks.

The Role:

They are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to be based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The Quality Assurance Manager would be the lone QA on their two current sites based in Amsterdam working on a Data Centre (No Data Centre experience is needed) and Logistics projects.

Role Responsibilities:

  • The Quality Assurance Manager will provide guidance on processes which are currently in place in ways which they can be improved and follow said processes to ensure the quality of the project is delivered to a high standard.
  • The Quality Assurance Manager will report directly to the Head of Quality of the company and report any findings, improvements and stages of project delivery to them on a regular basis.
  • The Quality Assurance Manager will have a ‘boots on the ground’ mindset and be proactive with the QA delivery to ensure processes are followed throughout the project’s life cycle.
  • The Quality Assurance Manager should have a strong technical background in software packages such as BIM360, if not competent in this, then have the active mindset to learn and master software packages required.
  • The QA will handle regular quality control inspections of all construction work and document any issues.
  • The QA will ensure that all project requirements and industry standards are met or exceeded.
  • The QA will hold training meetings for the project team on quality control procedures and requirements.
  • The QA will monitor and report on the progress of the quality assurance program to the Head of Quality.

Skills and Background:

  • The QA Manager will ideally come from a build or civil background and have experience managing multiple projects at once in a range of sectors.
  • The QA Manager will have either managed a team or has aspirations to do so in their future career.
  • The QA Manager will need to have an EU passport to be based in the Netherlands for this role, and also potentially elsewhere in the future.
  • The QA Manager will have experience in a fast-paced build environment, be happy to adapt to any changes and will have managed multiple projects from start to finish.
