Our client, a growing M&E subcontractor, is seeking to employ an M&E Commercial Manager to join their team. With a turnover of £95 million, projected growth to £150m and 2025 mostly booked, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of the company’s leadership structure.  Reporting to the Group Commercial Director, you will play a crucial role in managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects and ensuring their successful delivery. Projects are between £10-30m M&E, all shell and core.  This is an exciting opportunity to make the change that supercharges your career.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR M&E COMMERCIAL MANAGER / SKILLS AND BACKGROUND

• The ideal candidate for the M&E Commercial Manager position should hold a degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Quantity Surveying
• The M&E Commercial Manager can come from either a Main contractor or Subcontractor and have prior experience as a Commercial Manager or this could be a step up for a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor.
• The M&E Commercial Manager should also have strong communication skills and demonstrate proven leadership abilities
• You should have experience handling multiple projects with a M&E value ranging from £10 – £50m
• The M&E Commercial Manager will have expertise in construction contracts, specifically JCT.
• The M&E Commercial Manager will also be involved in all risk assessment
• The M&E Commercial Manager will oversee and analyse budget expenses and assess project cost plans
• Your role will involve making sure that all parties involved in the contract understand the financial aspects and implications
