Electrical Design Engineer | Rail
Aylin White is working with a well-established and growing engineering consultancy that specialises in rail projects. Due to an increase in project wins and in line with a pre-existing growth plan, they are looking for Electrical Design Engineers with experience working within the rail industry to join the growing team of a respectable engineering consultancy.
The Company
- A well-established engineering consultancy working mostly within the rail space, and expanding into other mission critical sectors.
- The company currently has 5 offices in the UK and abroad, and are currently going through an exciting expansion plan.
- The company is industry-recognised and are working on some of the largest railway frameworks taking place in the UK.
The Role:
- This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to play a role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative electrical design solutions.
- You will collaborate within your team and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to help manage the delivery of technically excellent and profitable projects.
- The role will include helping to deliver designs, keeping an eye on fee and programme, checking designs and communication with the team and wider.
- You would be assisting and helping to design and deliver designs, helping with drawing designs and helping set up meetings and workshops alongside a variety of other responsibilities.
Skills and Background:
- Interested in becoming a Chartered Engineer, educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (MEng or BEng), you have gained significant experience in an electrical engineering role within the engineering field.
- In your most recent position, you have consistently demonstrated your ability to work and contribute on small to medium scale projects and assist senior engineers to deliver to, and exceed, client expectations.
- Ability to use IT based calculation and spreadsheet software, alongside software skills.
