Senior Site Manager

£60,000 – £70,000 per annum + car allowance/car + bonus

We are currently recruiting for a senior site manager who has experience of being the main point of contact on site and delivering large scale new build projects. This is an opportunity to join a market leading off-site construction company who are delivering a new build school project in Cornwall.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• The senior site manager will be responsible for the management and delivery of a new build school development from ground works to project handover.
• The senior site manager will be responsible for the project’s performance in terms of time, cost, quality and client satisfaction.
• The senior site manager will be responsible for managing sub-contractors, managing the site HSE processes as well as reviewing and improving site processes and procedures.

SKILLS & BACKGROUND

• The senior site manager will have demonstrable experience leading sites while delivering large scale, new build construction projects from initial stages (ground works) to handover.
• The senior site manager will have excellent people management skills and be comfortable in dealing with numerous stakeholders on the project from sub-contractors, internal teams and the client.
• The senior site manager will need to be based in the South West and ideally have knowledge of local trades within the Cornwall area.
• The senior site manager will hold relevant qualifications in construction and health and safety.
