Leading the Discussion on the ‘New Normal’

We are all doing our best to adapt and cope at the moment.  It’s a tough time for us all no matter what role we are in.  As we navigate our way through uncharted waters one things has been clear; there has been a noticeable and welcome sense of collaboration and sharing of ideas and information across the #recruitmentindustry which is fantastic.  We are all in this together.

Chris Bennett, Director at Aylin White, is Co-Chair for the #APSCO London HR & TD Forum.  Chris will be covering the key points in an APSCO ‘In the Frame’ Virtual Meeting tomorrow alongside Julie Bowen, Head of Global Talent, from SThree.

This interactive discussion will give APSCO members the opportunity to take part in a group discussion about the key issues facing recruitment businesses and the role that their Human Resources and Talent Development professionals play, focusing on:

Transitioning to the ‘new normal’ – providing a platform for HR and L&D professionals to discuss their role in influencing and supporting the ‘new normal’.

What do we think the ‘new normal’ will look like in relation to:

    A Revised Business Model

    • Remote working – is the traditional 5-day week a thing of the past?
    • Talent – will we favour experience over home grown talent?
    • How agile do we need to be to meet the needs of the changing markets?

    A shift in mind-set

    • Has the crisis increased our levels of trust?
    • What mind-set shift have our leaders taken to carry us through and prepare for the ‘new normal’?
    • What more do we need to do in relation to our employee’s wellbeing?

Please feel free to contact Chris if you want to talk about anything relating to how your people and business are coping with the current #coronavirus environment chris.bennett@aylinwhite.com
