Our client is an award-winning Modular Build Contractor who are at the forefront of sustainable construction and are changing the way spaces are funded, designed and delivered to meet client needs by utilising data and the latest modular technologies.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with a proven history of delivering construction projects through pre-construction phases (RIBA 1-4).

The Senior Project Manager will be based in their impressive Central London office with regular visits to site.

An award-winning Consultancy led Main Contractor who are leading the way in terms of modular build construction throughout the UK, they are picking up major government contracts which has led to impressive growth in turnover and headcount in the last few years.

They put sustainability, social impact and cost stability for their clients at the forefront of everything they do and they are looking for ambitious Senior Project Managers who share these passions and are keen to change the perception of the construction industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

• The Senior Project Manager will act as the main point of contact to the client and their advisors on the project and oversee the preconstruction process from RIBA Stage 2 to RIBA Stage 4.
• The Senior Project Manager will work with the client and the external design team to develop a design that aligns with the client’s brief and budget.
• The Senior Project Manager will cultivate relationships with external stakeholders which may include authorities, developers and landowners to ensure effective project delivery.
• Prepare, update, and advise the client on project programmes. Evaluate progress and the impact of delays and alternative programme solutions.
• The Senior Project Manager will act as the main point of contact to the client and their advisers on the project during construction and will lead monthly client progress meetings.

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND

• The Senior Project Manager will hold a Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• (Ideally) Member of APM/ RICS/ CIOB or equivalent professional organisation, or actively working towards membership.
• The Senior Project Manager will have proven experience of working at Project Manager or Senior Project Manager for a Consultancy working on construction projects through RIBA stages 2-4.
• Knowledge of working on government projects, in particular education projects, would be advantageous but not essential.
