Exciting opportunity to join an Innovative M&E Design consultancy dealing with world class projects and who has shown great growth in the Data Centre sector.

The company specialise in designing innovating and solution focused services for award winning building projects across the globe within the commercial, healthcare, data centre, life sciences, leisure and heritage sectors.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / SKILLS AND BACKGROUND

 

  • The Senior Mechanical Engineer will have 4 – 5 years working experience
  • Relevant degree / CIBSE or recognised membership / Chartered engineer or close would be a great advantage
  • The Senior Mechanical Engineer must have technical knowledge and a in depth understanding of building services engineering RIBA stage 2 -5 of the design process
  • Data centre or missional critical projects a great advantage or life science / pharma / theatre project experience essential
  • The Senior Mechanical Engineers must have a high level of resilience.
  • Excellent technical knowledge in Mechanical Design Engineering and a thorough understanding of Building Services Engineering and interdisciplinary design through all stages of the design process.
  • Previous consultancy experience: you will appreciate the importance of complementary specialisms such as sustainability, intelligent buildings, fire engineering and acoustics in the design of buildings.
  • The Senior Mechanical Engineer must have previous experience leading small to medium sized projects and able to take a brief from the project lead on large projects and deliver & control the tasks required.
  • Appreciation of client needs, with ability to face clients.
  • The Senior Mechanical Engineer will mentor and supervise junior members of staff.
  • Hevacomp software essential and REVIT advantage

 

 

  • This position offers a hybrid set up, 2 days in office (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
  • 9-day fortnight – the firm offers all employees the option to work a 9-day working fortnight
  • 25 days annual leave
