We are working with a hugely respected Tier 1 contractor and Data Centre company operating across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe. They are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in London.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Mechanical Engineer will collaborate with the project team to understand project requirements and objectives, revise detailed mechanical system designs, develop plans and specifications for mechanical systems in compliance with building codes and regulations, and evaluate the feasibility of different mechanical system options and recommend the most suitable solutions.
• The Mechanical Engineer will supervise the installation of mechanical systems, ensuring they are installed correctly and according to design specifications and conduct quality control inspections to identify and address any issues or defects.
• The Mechanical Engineer will troubleshoot and resolve mechanical system issues that may arise during construction or after project completion, and collaborate with other professionals to address complex technical challenges.

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND

• The Mechanical Engineer will have a Mechanical Engineer degree/ONC/OND/HNC/HND.
• The Mechanical Engineer will have experience of completing at least 1 or 2 full lifecycle Data Centre or other Critical System projects (e.g., pharma, laboratories, etc.).
• UK citizen/right to work, Irish nationality or EU passport.
