The company offers excellent development opportunities and works across various sectors and their portfolio includes logistics (airports), data centres, offices, commercial, leisure, education, high-end residential projects. This opportunity for an award-winning company and their design management team which is considered a source of world-leading expertise. They are currently seeking an experienced Design Manager to provide essential design management support throughout all project phases.

Role Responsibilities

The Principal/ Associate Design Manager will be responsible for

• Collating designs.
• The Principal / Associate Design Manager will have to manage taking change requests from and effectively communicate with the client.
• Manage design and interfaces between disciplines and subconsultants.
• The Principal/ Associate Design Manager will liaise with contractors, clients, and internal/external consultants regarding project delivery.
• The Principal/ Associate Design Manager will be involved in managing various stages of design.
• The Design Manager will utilize design management tools to monitor and control project coordination.
• Principal/ Associate Design Managers will be able to manage multiple disciplines and managing internal and external consultancies.

Role Requirements

• The Design Manager will have experience in experience in project management and engineering with a background in engineering, project management consulting, or construction.
• The Design Manager will have experience in having led or taken full responsibility for a large scale single use project
• Principal / Associate Design Mangers will possess an understanding of key disciplines and interactions in large scale building/data centre projects.
• The Principal/ Associate Design Manager will ideally have experience on Data Centre projects.
